My Doll & Me launched “Zeina”, the 2nd Lebanese doll who lived back in 1971, in a typical seventies themed event, accompanied by the nostalgic Fairuz, and Rahbanis music and with a vivid Beirut before the war slideshow.
A book signing with the writer along with a Bargese game competition between 3 generations grandmas, moms and girls..Many yummy traditional Lebanese delis were served. To top it off, souvenir pictures were taken at “My Photobooth”.
“My Doll & Me” participated in the Women’s Race under the Lebanese Marathon association.
We ran under a noble cause, one of a new empowered girls’ generation for a better community.
« Girls of Today… Women of Tomorrow » was our slogan for a 5K run.
A special Dolls Parade, different rewards for all the participants, as well as a lot of empowering vibes escorted the girls and their moms all through their race.
